Service Hour Challenge

Posted on Dec 1 2022 - 8:25am

Scouts should use the following link to log their service hours as part of the service hour challenge.  If you notice a service project missing from the survey, please let me know and I will add it in.  (Mr. Kemp)

**Postponed - will be rescheduled** Civil War Presentation - December 3rd, 2pm, at the Delmar Reformed Church

Posted on Dec 1 2022 - 8:25am

Have you ever wondered what everyday life was like for soldiers fighting in the Civil War?  What they ate, the games they played in camp when not fighting?  This is a side of the conflict that's not often talked about, until now.  On Saturday, December 3rd, at 2:00 - 4:00 PM, Mr. Vincent will speak about what life was like in the army during the war.  He'll discuss some statistics about the war, inventions that were involved, food that was eaten and games that were played, and what life was like in camp when not fighting.  The presentation will be held at the Delmar Reformed Church, in Fellowship Hall.  You'll enter the church from the rear parking lot, then go up a set of stairs.  Fellowship Hall will be to your left.

Parents are welcome to attend, and this would be a great opportunity to invite a friend to come along.  Please make sure to register on the troop website so we have an accurate headcount, at

Service Hour Challenge

Posted on Nov 26 2022 - 8:11am

Hello Troop 75!  Scouts should continue to log their service hours for the Service Hour Challenge here:

We have added the Turkey Trot as an option, and will continue to add service opportunities as they come up.  As of right now, we only have 23.5 hours recorded by 11 scouts.  Which means there are a lot of scouts, and a lot of hours, that are not recorded yet.  Pizza and ice cream are riding on this, folks.  Let's get those hours logged!

Finally, with respect to the patrol challenge, the Iron Eagle Patrol is in the lead with 16.5 points, followed by the Axolotl Patrol with 11.5 points.  (Mr. Kemp)

Service Hour Challenge

Posted on Nov 21 2022 - 1:34pm

This years Service Hour Challenge goal is 250 hours, measured from November 1st to January 31st.  If the troop achieves that, we will hold a pizza and ice cream party for the troop on a date chosen by the PLC.
