Camp Health Forms

Posted on Jun 2 2016 - 6:30am

The medical form link on the Camp Rotary page of the wesite was out of date. This 2012 english/spanish version is no longer accepted by BSA. If you have done that form you need to have it redone on the new one. That link has been removed. Here is the proper form.  BSA Health and Medical Record

Reminder on New Rank Requirements for 2016

Posted on May 23 2016 - 11:27am

As many of you know, BSA has instituted new rank requirements starting this year.  I have uploaded a breakdown of the changes, as well as a print-out that may be inserted into older scoutbooks for rank advancement.  The links for these two documents are below.  As you'll see, the changes are not earth shattering.  For 2016 only, scouts who were not yet First Class as of December 31, 2015 may continue using the old requirements through First Class rank.  Scouts First Class and above as of December 31, 2015 may work on the next rank only under the old requirements.  Subsequent advancement must be under the new requirements.  Any scout who joins in 2016 must adhere to the new requirements from the start.

PayPal Option for Summer Camp Payment is Active

Posted on Feb 16 2016 - 9:16am

You may now pay for summer camp deposits and remainder payments via the "online payments" option in the menu to the left side of the website.  This allows you to pay with a credit card via PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to use this feature. Please note that PayPal charges a 3% fee for this convenience.  If you choose to pay via PayPal, please be sure to let the trip coordinator know so she can mark you down as "paid."

Summer Camp Payment Schedule

Posted on Feb 12 2016 - 10:56am
It doesn't seem possible but summer camp season is almost upon us.  Below is the schedule of when payments are due, and who will be collecting them.  I have also listed the Assistant Scoutmaster who will be fielding any question you may have.  Please keep in mind that the deadlines are set to give the troop sufficient time to deposit your checks, have them clear our account, and then cut a single check from the troop to make timely payment to council.  Each family is responsible for making arrangements to get their payment to the appropriate person by the deadlines below.  The cost increases for late registrants based on increased fee imposed by council.  See website roster for contact information for the individuals listed below.
